In view of the guidelines of this Court dated 7.4.2021, the bail applications have been directed to be heard through video conferencing.
Heard learned counsel for the applicant, learned counsel for the informant and learned A.G.A. for the State through video conferencing.
Despite time granted, no counter affidavit has been filed.
The applicant is the elder brother-in-law (Jeth) of the deceased. Learned counsel for the applicant has submitted that he has been falsely implicated in this case. The deceased has committed suicide by way of hanging in matrimonial home.
There is allegation against the applicant that he used to pressurize the deceased to enter into physical relationship with him, therefore, she died.
Learned counsel for the applicant has submitted that cause of death of the deceased was on account of asphyxia as a result of ante-mortem hanging. The marriage between the couple took place on 19.2.2019.
Learned A.G.A. has submitted that specific allegation has been made against the applicant.
In view of above, it is not a fit case for grant of anticipatory bail to the applicant.
Interim order dated 15.12.2020 granted earlier is cancelled.
Accordingly, this application for anticipatory bail of the applicant is rejected.
