Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing counsel for the respondent nos.1 to 4.
The grievance of the petitioner is that over his plot no.775, Mauja Harakhpur, District Jaunpur, unauthorizedly, without acquiring the land and without payment of any compensation to the petitioner, a Naali has been drawn.
It appears that in respect of the said grievance, the petitioner has submitted a representation on 18.3.2018 to the District Magistrate, Jaunpur.
In view of the above, we consider it appropriate to dispose of this petition by requiring the District Magistrate, Jaunpur to take an appropriate decision on the representation/claim of the petitioner, in accordance with law, preferably, within six weeks from the date of filing of a certified copy of this order alongwith a copy of the writ petition in the office of the District Magistrate, Jaunpur.
It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the claim of the petition. This petition stands disposed of.
