JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner is the 2nd accused in C.C.No.1714/2008 on the file of the Judicial First Class Magistrate Court, Adoor. It is averred that the petitioner was out of India since 15.5.2004 and hence he could not appear before the court below to defend his case. It is submitted that the court below has now passed the judgment in the above said calender case, C.C.No.1714/2008, acquitting all the other accused and on coming to know about the judgment, the petitioner has filed application for issuance of certified copy of the said judgment on 24.10.2014 as per application No.792/2014 before the Judicial First Class Magistrate Court, Adoor. It is submitted that the said application is not granted and certified copy has not issued till this date. It is further submitted that the delay in issuing certified copy is causing hardship to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Crl.M.C has been filed seeking invocation of the powers conferred on this Court under Sec.482 Cr.P.C with the prayer to issue direction to the Judicial First Class ::2::
Crl.M.C.No.7263 Of 2014 Magistrate Court, Adoor to grant/issue certified copy of judgment in C.C.No.1714/2008 on the file of the said court submitted as per application No.792/2014 dated 24.10.2014.
2. Heard Sri.K.B.Pradeep, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned public prosecutor appearing for the respondent-State.
3. In the facts and circumstances of the case and in the interest of justice, it is ordered that the Judicial First Class Magistrate Court, Adoor will take steps to issue certified copy of the judgment in C.C.No.1714/2008 in terms of the request made under Application No.792/2014 said to have been submitted for and on behalf of the petitioner, if it is otherwise in order, within a period of two weeks from the date of production of a certified copy of this order.
The Crl.M.C stands finally disposed of as above.
