The petitioner in the above writ petition seeks for expeditious disposal of A.S.No.33 of 2010 pending before the Subordinate Judge's Court, Ottapalam.
2. Since the appeal itself is of the year 2010, a report was called for from the lower Court. A report has been placed on record, dated 28.05.2014, in which it has been stated that the present incumbent assumed office on 21.05.2014 and on a perusal of the records it is seen that the appeal, which is the subject matter of the writ petition, was admitted on 22.03.2010 and now the appeal stands posted to 30.06.2014. It is also stated that there are large number of appeals pending in that Court, starting from 1999 onwards.

3. In the above circumstance, on the petitioner moving an application before the Subordinate Judge's Court, Ottapalam for an early disposal of the appeal, the learned Subordinate Judge shall take note of the work pending in that Court and consider the application and if possible, dispose of the appeal expeditiously.
Original Petition is disposed of as above.
