No.11343 of 2013 are in appeal aggrieved by the order dt.29.4.2014 passed therein by the learned Single Judge. By the said order, the learned Single Judge disposed of the matter directing the Government of India, Ministry of Shipping, New Delhi, to consider the complaint dt.3.4.2013 made by the petitioners and pass appropriate orders as warranted by law, duly assigning reasons in support of the decision, within a time frame.
It is now stated by Sri C.V. Mohan Reddy, learned Senior Counsel, representing Visakhapatnam Port Trust, second respondent herein, that pursuant to the order under appeal the Ministry of Shipping, Government of India, passed an order dt.9.6.2014 rejecting the complaint petition filed by the appellants.
In the light of the aforestated developments, it is clear that the order under appeal has got worked itself out and this appeal does not survive for consideration on merits.
The writ appeal is accordingly dismissed.
Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
