This Criminal Revision Case has been filed to set aside the order dated 10.02.2017 passed in CMP.No.296 of 2016 in M.C.No.11 of 2012 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Vridhachalam.
2. The respondent herein is the wife of the petitioner. Earlier, the respondent filed an application under Section 128 of Cr.P.C. for recovery of arrears of maintenance. The Court below allowed the application, against which the present criminal revision case has been filed.
3. Earlier, at the time of admission, this Court granted interim stay on condition that the petitioner shall deposit the entire arrears of maintenance as on today, to the credit of M.C.No.11 of 2012 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.1, Virudhachalm, within a period of three weeks. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that pursuant to the order passed by this Court on 18.04.2017, the petitioner has paid the entire arrears amount before the trial Court. In the above circumstances, since the entire arrears of maintenance has been paid by the petitioner, no further adjudication is necessary in the criminal revision case.
4. In view of the above, the criminal revision case is closed.
Consequently, connected M.P. is closed.
