JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner has preferred present petition challenging the order dated 18.11.2005 according to which, the services of the petitioner came to be terminated for continuous and unauthorized absence for 11 months.
The challenge is brought to this Court after almost 7 years.
Mr.
Shastri, learned advocate for the petitioner, having regard to the said fact restricted his submissions requesting that the representations made by the petitioner may be considered and appropriate decision may be taken by the competent authority.
In para-11 of present petition, the details about the representations made by the petitioner have been mentioned, copies whereof are annexed at Annexure - J to this petition.
In view of the request made by Mr. Shastri, learned advocate for the petitioner, present petition is disposed of with observation that the competent authority will take up the representations dated 2.12.2009, 15.3.2010, 13.12.2011 and 15.12.2011 and decide the same as expeditiously as possible and preferably within 10 weeks and take appropriate decision. The decision taken by the competent authority will be conveyed to the petitioner.
With the aforesaid observations and direction, present petition stands disposed of.
