The prayer made in the instant petition is for issuing a mandamus to the respondents not to disturb the pillars fixed by the revenue authorities during demarcation proceedings under section 41 of the U.P. Land Revenue Act, 1901.
According to learned counsel for the petitioners, the demarcation proceedings were carried out on the request of the petitioners. The private respondents have removed the demarcation pillars.
It is evident from the material brought on record that the petitioners have already lodged a first information report against the private respondents in this regard. Moreover, in case the pillars have been removed, the petitioners should approach the revenue authorities with their grievance.
The petition stands disposed of with the above observations.
