Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.
Petitioner has challenged the order passed by Regional Manager cancelling the contract for plying of the bus under the UPSRTC. The cancellation has been made on the ground of violation of the terms and conditions of the agreement.
The impugned order is dated 26.10.2016. Petitioner has approached this Court challenging the said order after about one and 1/2 years without any plausible explanation for this inordinate delay.
Shri A.K. Narayana appearing for the respondents points out that dispute emanates from an agreement and the remedy available to the petitioner is a civil suit.
Be that as it may, since the petition has been filed with inordinate delay, we are not inclined to entertain the same. The writ petition, accordingly, stands dismissed.
We, however, leave it open to the petitioner to avail such other remedy, which may be available to him in law and if so advised.
