Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned standing counsel for the respondents.
The petitioner by means of this petition wants that Pakaria Naugava Gram Panchayat be converted into a Nagar Panchayat. In short, the petitioner wants that the status of the Gram Panchayat to be converted into the Nagar Panchayat.
The petitioner is not personally aggrieved even though he is a the resident of the said village. He has not preferred this petition in public interest or in any representative capacity.
In view of the above, since he is not personally aggrieved, he is not entitled to maintain the writ petition and the same is accordingly dismissed.
