JUDGMENT / ORDER

1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners as well as learned Additional Government Advocate and perused the record.
2. This petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeks quashing of entire proceedings of charge-sheet No.A-514 of 2020 dated 24.10.2020 and proceedings of Case No.1666 of 2020 pending before learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-I, Faizabad, arising out of FIR No.0494 of 2020 under Sections 323, 354, 504, 506 IPC, Police Station Poorakalandar, Ayodhya.
3. After hearing the submissions and perusing the record, I find no ground to interfere with the ongoing proceedings.
4. At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that the petitioners may be given some time to apply for bail.
5. Considering the aforesaid, this petition is disposed of with the direction that in case the petitioners appear/surrender before the court below within 10 days from today and apply for bail, the same shall be considered and decided in view of the settled law laid down by this Court in Amrawati and another Vs. State of U.P. reported in 2004 (57) ALR 290 as well as by the Supreme Court in Lal Kamlendra Pratap Singh Vs. State of U.P., 2009 (3) ADJ 322 (SC).
Till the aforesaid period of 10 days, no coercive step shall be taken against the petitioners.
