Heard Mr. Krishna Mohan Misra, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Manoj Kumar Singh, learned counsel for respondent No. 2.
We have perused the prayers made in the writ petition. Counsel for respondent No. 2 has placed on record the order dated 8.2.2018 issued by the Election Commissioner declaring election programme in two parts consisting of finalization of voters' list and actual election. As per the programme, the provisional voters' list will be declared on 23.3.2018 and final voters' list will be published on 27.3.2018. The filing of nominations will commence on 28.3.2018 and election results will be declared on 4.4.2018. In view thereof, counsel for the petitioner does not press this writ petition. Petition is disposed of as not pressed.
