Heard learned counsel for the applicant.
A writ petition preferred by him for being granted the copies of his answer script was disposed of with the observation that it would be open to him to move the competent authority under the Right to Information Act, 2005 for provision of the said copies. It was further provided that in case an application to this effect is filed, the same shall be duly attended to and disposed of. Undisputedly, no time frame was stipulated by the High Court for the disposal of the application. Even otherwise if it be the case of the applicant that an application under the 2005 Act has not been disposed of by the P.I.O., he has an adequate remedy of preferring a statutory appeal under the provisions of the said enactment.
Subject to liberty being reserved to initiate such proceedings under the provisions of the 2005 Act, this petition is disposed of.
