Heard learned counsel for the parties.
The primary prayer made in the writ petition, reads thus:
"(I) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari quashing the impugned First Information Report dated 12.05.2017 in Case Crime No. 0285 of 2017 under Section 366 I.P.C. Police Station-Mansurpur, District Muzaffar Nagar. "
Mr. Murtaza, learned AGA, on instructions, submits that the investigating agency has filed a closure/final report under Section 173 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 bearing no. 36 of 2017 dated 15.06.2017, and in view thereof, this petition renders infructuous.
The petition is, accordingly, disposed of as infructuous.
