The petitioner is aggrieved by his non-selection in U.P. Police Constable Direct Recruitment Examination 2009.
The submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that the candidates in O.B.C. category lower in merit than the petitioner have been selected.
Learned Standing Counsel contends that if the petitioner is aggrieved by his non selection he can raise the objection before the U.P. Police Recruitment and Promotion Board, Lucknow which shall be considered and decided by a reasoned order.
In view of above, the writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to raise his grievance before respondent no.2, U.P. Police Recruitment and Promotion Board, Lucknow and in case any such objection/representation is filed by the petitioner the same shall be considered and decided by respondent no.2 in accordance with law within a period of three weeks thereafter. Till disposal of the representation one post shall be kept reserved for the petitioner.
The writ petition stands disposed of.
