This revision is preferred against the order dated 3.9.2019 passed by the Addl. Principal Judge, Family Court (Court No.1), Muzaffar Nagar in Case No.512/11/2018, granting maintenance under Section 125 Cr.P.C @ Rs.5000/- per month to the wife from the date of application.
Marital status is not disputed. The contention of the revisionist (husband) that O.P. No.2 runs a boutique from which she generates considerable income, has been rejected by the court below as there was no evidence to that effect. The revisionist has dared not to challenge the finding on boutique being run by his wife. The amount awarded from the date of application is too meagre, especially looking to the status of revisionist.
The revision lacks merit and is dismissed.
