2. The State of Karnataka, Represented by the Secretary, The Department of Personal And Administrative Reforms, Government of Karnataka, Vidhana Soudha, Ambedkar Beedi, Bangalore – 560 02. ... Respondents (By Sri Reuben Jacob, Advocate for R1: Smt.Niloufer Akbar, AGA for R2) This writ petition is filed under Articles 226 & 227 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the R2 to furnish the CC of the 6 answer scripts as indicated below: 1) General Studies (DD), 2) General Studies (BB), 3) Anthropology (26) Paper-1, 4) Anthropology (26) Paper-II, 5) Rural Devpt and Co-op. (24) Paper-1, 6) Rural Devpt. And Co-op. (24) paper-II and direct the R2 to revalue the above said 6 answer scripts written by the petitioner in the KPSC examination held in the year 2011.
This writ petition, coming on for preliminary hearing ‘B’ Group, this day, the Court, made the following:
ORDER The petitioner has sought a direction directing the second respondent to furnish the certified copies of the answer scripts as indicated below: 1) General Studies (DD), 2) General Studies (BB), 3) Anthropology (26) Paper-1, 4) Anthropology (26) Paper-II, 5) Rural Devpt and Co-op. (24) Paper-1, 6) Rural Devpt. And Co-op. (24) paper-II.
2. Learned counsel appearing for the first respondent would submit that in view of the order passed by the Government dated 14.08.2014, withdrawing the requisition itself, the writ petition does not survive for consideration.
3. The submission of the learned counsel for the first respondent is placed on record.
4. This writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous.
