Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State.
Present petition has been filed with a prayer that the respondent no. 1 be directed to decide election petition No. T202109550302310 bearing suit no. 02310 of 2021 (Vinod Kumar Vs. Sher Khan and others) within stipulated period.
In the facts and circumstances of the case, the present petition is finally disposed of with the direction to the respondent no. 1 to expedite the hearing of the aforesaid case and decide the same, in accordance with law, expeditiously, if possible within a period of six months from the date of production of computer generated copy of this order after verifying the same from official website of Allahabad High Court, without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties, provided there is no other legal impediment. In case any adjournment is granted, the respondent no. 1 shall record reasons for the same.
