Heard learned counsel for the parties.
It is the case of the petitioner he is working on the post of Driver since 2005 in U.P. State Road Transport Corporation, Baraut, Meerut. He met with an accident in the year 2013 and was unable to perform his rigorous duties. He was asked to appear before the Medical Board and on the basis of the said medical report, light work was given to the petitioner instead of that of a driver.
The petitioner was asked to undergo treatment as his disability was one that was curable by regular medical treatment. However, it appears that he did not join duties till 2017 and from 2018 he has been working with the respondents, he has not been paid salary for the period 29.11.2017 to 25.02.2018. He has also made a representation which is pending before the respondent no. 2 (Regional Manager, U.P. State Road Transport Corporation, Meerut Region, Meerut).
Counsel for the respondents has fairly stated that he has no objection if this writ petition is finally decided at the admission stage itself.
Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent no. 2 to look into the grievance of the petitioner and pass an appropriate reasoned and speaking order within a period of three months from the date a certified copy of this order is produced before him.
