Heard the counsel for the petitioners.
The present writ petition has been filed by the petitioners challenging the order dated 29.07.2019 passed by the Tehsildar Machhalishahar, Jaunpur.
It has been stated by the learned counsel for the petitioners that against the order impugned dated 29.07.2019 petitioners have filed an appeal under Section 35 (2) of the Uttar Pradesh Revenue Code, 2006 before the Deputy District Magistrate, Machhalishahar, Jaunpur, i.e respondent No.1, but the same is still pending. He further made a prayer that the said appeal may be decided expeditiously.
Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the Deputy District Magistrate, Machhalishahar i.e., respondent no. 1 is directed to decide the aforesaid appeal within a period of six months from the date a certified copy of this order is produced before him, in case, there is no legal impediment in deciding the aforesaid appeal.
With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition is disposed of.
