Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents.
The writ petition has been filed seeking the following ground-
"I) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the Tehsildar Sadar, District Azamgarh/ respondent no.2 to decide the mutation case No.979 of 2017 its Computer Case No.T201715657011214 under Section 34/35 of U.P. Revenue Code 2006 (Vinod Kumar Upadhyay and others Vs. Ramanuj Upadhyay) village Lachhirampur, Tappa Athaisi, Post Heerapatti, Pargana Nizamabad, Tehsil Sadar, District Azamgarh within stipulated time bound issued by this Hon'ble Court.":
It is stated that a mutation case filed by the petitioner is pending consideration since the year 2017.
Under the circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent no.2, Tehsildar Sadar, District Azamgarh to endeavour to decide the mutation case of the petitioner expeditiously preferably within a period of three months from the date a certified copy of this order is filed before him.
