Learned advocate for the petitioners after citing decision and elaborating the proposition of law submitted that looking to the tenure of service rendered by the respondent workman there could be a consideration of modifying the award and instead of reinstatement it could be converted into payment of lump sum amount also. This of course, is without prejudiced to the earlier contentions made on merits of the matter. Learned advocate for the petitioners submitted that in case, if his clients i.e. the petitioners are agreeing for offering any amount towards lump sum payment, he would obtain instruction in this behalf, or else would invite decision on the matter. At his request, matter is kept on 16.06.2012.
