This is a petition filed under Section 24 of the Code of Civil Procedure seeking to have O.P.No.1269/2012 pending before the Family Court, Palakkad transferred to Family Court, Thrissur for trial and disposal. 2. The marital relationship between the petitioner and the 1st respondent ran into rough weather and proceedings were initiated before the Family Court, Palakkad by the husband for divorce. The petitioner points out that she is a resident of Pilakkad in Thrissur District and she finds it difficult to travel to Palakkad for every posting date and that she has two children to look after. She also says that she has financial difficulties and she has nobody to accompany her to go to Palakkad. Under these circumstances, she prays that the matter may be transferred to Family Court, Thrissur.

3. Learned counsel appearing for the respondents pointed out that it will be convenient for them if the matter is transferred to Family Court, Ottappalam.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner points out that Ottapalam is far away than Thrissur and it will be convenient for her if the matter is dealt with by the Family Court, Thrissur.
5. Considering the totality of the circumstances, it is felt that the relief as sought for can be granted to the petitioner.
In the result, this petition is allowed and O.P.No.1269/2012 pending before the Family Court, Palakkad shall stand transferred to Family Court, Thrissur for trial and disposal.
