Heard learned Counsel for the petitioner and learned Counsel for the State.
The prayers prayed for in the writ petition are as follows:
"(i) to issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no.1 to decide the Original Application No.330/1308/2019 (Vinesh Kumar Shuka v. Union of India & Ors.) within a stipulated time;
(ii) to issue any other writ, order or direction in favour of the petitioner as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the present facts and circumstances of the case;
(iii) to award the cost of the petition in favour of the petitioner."
The request that the Tribunal to decide the lis between the parties as expeditiously as possible is granted.
It is conveyed by the Counsel for the Union of India that the pleadings have been exchanged.
The Tribunal shall see roster and decide the Original Application No.330/1308/2019 (Vinesh Kumar Shuka v. Union of India & Ors.) as expeditiously as possible but not later than 31.3.2022.
We make it clear that we have not gone into the merits of the lis between the parties.
With the aforesaid directions, the writ petition is disposed of.
