1. Petitioner submitted Ext.P1 appeal before the District Collector under Section 28A of the Kerala Stamp Act. The same was filed on 21.5.2014.
2. The complaint of the petitioner is that despite the filing of Ext.P1, no action has been taken so far by the District Collector.
3. Perusal of the records would reveal that Ext.P1 was filed only on 21.5.2014. The practice of approaching this Court seeking direction for disposal of the appeals, without giving an opportunity to the appellate authority to have sufficient time for disposal of the appeals, has to be deprecated and I do so. However, taking into consideration the fact that Ext.P1 appeal has to be disposed of by the District Collector, in accordance W.P.(C)No.13836 of 2014 -:2:-
with the procedure prescribed, I direct the third respondent to dispose of the appeal, Ext.P1, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
Writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
