JUDGMENT / ORDER

Hon'ble Ajai Kumar Srivastava-I,J.
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel for the State and Sri Anurag Kumar Singh learned counsel appearing for the State Election Commission through Video Conferencing.
The result of the election in dispute has already been declared. The petitioner as against the cause raised in the present writ petition has a statutory remedy under Section 12-C of Panchayat Raj Act, 1947.
The petitioner may be well advised to avail the alternative remedy open to him under law. For the factual questions being involved in the matter, the writ petition cannot be entertained in exercise of writ jurisdiction under Article 226 of the Constitution of India.
For the aforesaid reason, the writ petition is dismissed on the ground of alternative remedy available under law.
