Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.
The present petition has been filed on behalf of defendant in Original Suit No. 529 of 1994 (Nand Kishor v. Alok Kumar and others) for a direction upon the court concerned to decide the suit within a stipulated period.
The grievance of the petitioner is that an interim injunction has been obtained by the plaintiff and the plaintiff is not co-operating in disposal of the suit proceedings.
Be that as it may, since the suit is over two decades old, this Court considers it appropriate to dispose of this petition by requiring the court concerned to decide the matter expeditiously, in absence of any legal impediment, without entertaining unnecessary adjournments from the parties.
