Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel.
Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents states that subject to verification of all facts and contentions on merits being left open, the complaint of the petitioner made against the elected Gram Pradhan shall be duly evaluated and such further action as warranted taken in accordance with law. It is further stated that the District Magistrate shall take a decision with respect to initiation of proceedings, if any, within a period of two months from the date of presentation of a certified copy of this order alongwith a copy of the writ petition and its enclosures.
Accordingly this petition shall stand disposed of in light of the statement noted above.
