Heard learned counsel for the applicant, learned AGA for the State and perused the record.
This application under Section 482 CrPC has been filed with a prayer to direct the Judicial Magistrate, Mathura to decide the Criminal Case No. 557/IX of 2017 (State Vs. Pawan Bhardwaj), arising out of Case Crime No. 70 of 2016, under Sections 498- A, 323, 504, 506 IPC and Section 3/4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, Police Station Mahila Thana, District Mathura within stipulated period.
Learned counsel for the applicant has submitted that in the present case, charges have been framed on 04.07.2018 and since then, trial has been lingering-on, on one pretext or the other.
In view of the above, learned court below is directed to make all endeavours to decide the aforesaid case, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of eight months from the date of filing of certified copy of this order without giving any unnecessary adjournments to either parties, if there is no other legal impediment in deciding the aforesaid case.
With the aforesaid direction, this application under Section 482 CrPC is finally disposed of.
