The prayer made in the instant petition is for a direction to the trial court to decide criminal appeal no. 64 of 2019, under section 29 of the Domestic Violence Act, 2005, expeditiously within a prescribed period.
Having regard to the facts of the case, the instant petition is disposed of with a direction to the appellate court to decide the appeal expeditiously, preferably within a period of six months from the date of production of certified copy of the instant order.
