Learned counsel for petitioners undertakes that he shall remove the defects pointed out by the Registry within a period of ten days of the withdrawal of lockdown restrictions.
Heard learned counsel for petitioners, Sri R.K. Singh Suryavanshi, learned counsel for O.P. No.2, and learned standing counsel for State.
Learned counsel for petitioners submits that advertisement for the post of T.G.T. & P.G.T. was made on 15.3.2021 by the O.P. No.2, U.P. Secondary Education Service Selection Board, Prayagraj. The applications were to be submitted through online. However, due to COVID-19 conditions, the same could not be submitted. Therefore, the petitioner had made representation before the O.P. No.2 for extension of time.
After arguing at some length, learned counsel for petitioners submits that the grievance of petitioner would be sufficiently met in case their representation is considered and decided by the opposite party No.2 expeditiously.
Learned counsel for O.P. No.2 states that time was earlier extended for submitting applications and it is not possible to extend it any further in view of the fact that that the O.P. No.2 has to complete entire process within time.
In view of the facts and circumstances, without going into the merits of the case, the O.P. No.2 is directed to proceed and decide the representation of the petitioners as per facts and circumstances of the case within a period of four weeks from the date a printout copy of this order is placed before him.
With the aforesaid, the writ petition is disposed of.
