Vikramji vs State

High Court Of Gujarat|12 April, 2012

JUDGMENT / ORDER

By way of present application, the applicant-prisoner has prayed to release him on temporary bail for a period of 20 days on the ground of repairing of his house.
Heard Mr.H.L. Jani, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent No.1-State and also perused papers produced before me. It appears from the jail record that the applicant was convicted for the offence under Section 363 of the Indian Penal Code and convicted him for five years. It also appears from the jail record that the applicant is behind the bars for 10 months. Hence, looking to the jail period and the ground on which temporary bail is sought, present application deserves to be dismissed and is hereby dismissed.
