Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and Shri Mahesh Narain Singh for the Gaon Sabha as also learned Standing counsel for the State-respondents.
It appears that the petitioner filed a suit for declaration in the year 2008.
In this suit, a stay application has been filed for the first time in May 2019 and directions are sought for expeditious disposal of the same.
Although, prima facie, the stay claimed in the suit if granted would amount to deciding the suit finally. However, this writ petition is disposed of with the observation that the stay application of the petitioners be considered and disposed of by a reasoned and speaking order, as expeditiously as possible without granting any unnecessary adjournment to any of the parties.
