The sole relief calimed in the instant petition is for issuing a direction to the trial Court to expedite the proceedings of Original Suit No. 1477/2012.
The petitioner is defendant in the said suit. It is urged by learned counsel for the petitioner that the suit was dismissed in default, but on an application filed by the plaintiff, it was restored. Counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is suffering irreparable injury on account of pendency of the suit since a long time.
Having regard to these facts, the instant petition is disposed of by directing the trial Court to make all endeavour to decide the suit, expeditiously, without granting unnecessary adjournments.
