Hon'ble Yashwant Varma,J.
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel.
Although the relief as sought and framed in the writ petition seeks grant of compassionate appointment in favour of the petitioner on the post of Collection Amin, learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner would be satisfied if his claim for compassionate appointment on any suitable post is considered by the District Magistrate.
Learned Standing Counsel states that in case the petitioner approaches the District Magistrate by way of a representation within a period of two weeks from today alongwith all requisite details, the second respondent shall duly evaluate the claim of the petitioner and dispose it of in accordance with law and preferably within a period of two months therefrom.
Accordingly and in light of the statement so made, this petition stands disposed of.
