Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing for the State-respondents.
The petitioner is before this Court with a request to decide his representation dated 23.2.2021 addressed to first respondent- The Controlling Authority, Payment and Gratuity Act, West Bengal, Kolkata.
Learned counsel for the petitioner has not been able to indicate any cause of action occurring within the territorial jurisdiction of this Court. This is also a preliminary objection raised by the learned counsel appearing for the State-respondent.
The preliminary objection is upheld. No cause arisen within the territorial jurisdiction of this Court.
The writ petition is not maintainable. It is, accordingly, dismissed.
This order will not preclude the petitioner to file a fresh petition before the Court having territorial jurisdiction.
