JUDGMENT / ORDER

Hon'ble Manish Kumar,J.
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned State Counsel and Sri Rakesh Kumar Chaudhary, learned counsel representing the State Election Commission.
Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that while preparing the final voters list, certain names have illegally been included in the list.
For redressal of his grievances raised in this writ petition, appropriate remedy is available to the petitioner under Clause 3 and 4 of Uttar Pradesh Panchayat Raj (Registration of Electors) Supplementary Provisions Order, 2005.
Accordingly, without entering into merits of the claim of the petitioner, the writ petition is finally disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to approach appropriate authority, namely, the Electoral Registration Officer / Assistant Electoral Registration Officer under Clause 3 and 4 of the aforesaid Order, 2005 and in case the petitioner so approaches, the competent authority shall take decision in the matter, with expedition, in any case before the nomination.
