1. The petition seeks issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari quashing first information report, Case Crime No.0497 of 2015, under Section 3/7 of Essential Commodities Act and later on altered under Section 3/7 of E.C. Act, under Section 476, 482, 483 & 486 I.P.C., Police Station Kotwali, District Barabanki.
2. Short counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of the prosecuting agency in Court, which is taken on record. It has been stated in the counter affidavit that misbranded articles have been found. Fertilizers and pesticides were improperly stored, there were irregularities.
3. Considering the contents of the counter affidavit, we do not find any ground to quash the impugned proceedings.
4. Dismissed.
