The instant writ petition has been filed by the petitioner invoking the extraordinary jurisdiction of this court with a prayer to quash the order dated 25.2.2019 passed by the respondent No.2 in Case No. 1498 of 2018 under Section 3/4 of U.P. Control of Goondas Act, 1970 whereby the petitioner has been externed for a period of six months from the territory of District Meerut..
The petitioner has not exhausted the statutory remedy of appeal available to him before the Commissioner against the order of externment dated 25.2.2019 passed by the respondent No.2.
Since the petitioner has not exhausted the statutory remedy of appeal before the Commissioner, this Court is not inclined to entertain the present writ petition. The present writ petition is accordingly dismissed on the ground of alternative remedy.
