Heard Sri Rishabh Singh, learned counsel for the applicant and Sri G. P. Singh, learned A.G.A. for the State.
This application has been filed with a prayer to expedite the S. T. No. 266 of 2007 (State v. Vikas Singh), arising out of Case Crime no. 17 of 2007, under Sections 302 & 307 of I.P.C., Police Station Shivpur, District Varanasi.
It has been argued by the learned counsel for the applicant that the applicant is accused in this case and the entire witnesses of fact have been recorded and the I.O. is not appearing before the lower court, therefore, a direction is sought to be issued to the trial court for expeditious disposal of this case.
Learned A.G.A. has no objection.
In view of the above, it is directed that court below shall make all endeavour to decide this case expeditiously preferably within a period of three months from today without permitting undue adjournments to either side, if there is no legal impediment.
With aforesaid direction, this Application under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is finally disposed.
