The petitioner seeks compassionate appointment on account of death of his father who was Class-IV employee in the electricity department. The petitioner submits that he has moved an application on 18.6.2019 since after attaining majority with 'no objection' of other heirs of the deceased employee.
Till date, there has been no direction to the claim of the petitioner.
Only prayer made in the present petition is to issue a direction to the respondent to take an expeditious decision within a stipulated period.
To this submission, Sri Adarsh Bhushan, learned counsel for the respondent nos. 2 and 3 raises no objection.
In view thereof, without expressing any opinion as to the merits of claim of the petitioner, the present writ petition is being disposed of with the direction to the respondent no. 2 namely Executive Engineer, Vidhyut Vitaran Khand, IInd Fataha, Mirzapur, U.P. to consider the claim of the petitioner for grant of compassionate appointment by passing a reasoned and speaking order in accordance with law, preferably, within a period of one month from today.
