JUDGMENT / ORDER

Petitioner is accused in Crime No.571 of 2014 of the Kayamkulam Police Station for the offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 308 of the Indian Penal Code, Section 20 r/w Section 27 of the Arms Act apprehends, arrest and has filed the application.
2. Learned Public Prosecutor has opposed the application. It is submitted that on 06.03.2014 at about 09.30 p.m., the petitioner attacked the de facto complainant with sword.
3. Learned counsel submits that the allegations are not true. The petitioner happened to question illegal activities of the de facto complainant. Petitioner is falsely implicated.
4. I have gone through C.D file and find from the wound certificate is that the de facto complainant was admitted in the hospital on 06.03.2014 with clean incised wound extending from the left ear to the check.
5. Learned Pubic Prosecutor submits that the de facto complainant has 22 stitches.

6. Having regard to the nature of the incident, the weapon used and the investigation required to be done, request for pre-arrest bail cannot be allowed.
Application is dismissed.
