In view of the statement made by Mr. Kamal Trivedi, learned Advocate General with Ms. Sangeeta Vishen, learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing for the respondent-State of Gujarat that the representation dated 04.11.2011 made by the applicant/petitioner will be decided by the State Government within a period of 30 days from today i.e on or before 11.07.2012, the prayers made in this application are not required to be granted at this stage.
In view of the above, the application as well as the main petition stand disposed of. Subject to above, notice is discharged.
If the representation dated 04.11.2011 preferred by the petitioner/applicant will not be decided within the stipulated period, it will be open to the petitioner/applicant to revive the petition as well as application.
If the representation is decided, and if the decision of the State Government is adverse to the petition, it will be open to the petitioner to challenge the same.
It is clarified that this Court has not entered into the merits of the matter.
