Shaffique, J.
The petitioner has approached this Court seeking police protection. Petitioner is residing with her minor school going daughter. According to the petitioner, her husband, the 4th respondent has physically tortured her. She has obtained an order under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act from the Judicial First Class Magistrate Court, Adoor, but atrocities are continued by respondents 4 to 9. She had filed complaints, Exts.P3 and P5 before Police, but, since no action has been taken in the matter, she has approached this Court.
2. Learned Government Pleader on instructions would submit that based on the complaints of the petitioner, crime was registered and 4th respondent was arrested and investigation is still pending. The 4th respondent was later released on bail granted by this Court. As the Police have taken appropriate action in the matter, we do not think that WP(C) No. 27107 of 2013 -:2:-
any further orders are necessary in the matter. Further, if there is any complaint, the petitioner can approach the Police, who shall look into the matter and do the needful.
The Writ Petition is disposed of as above.
Ashok Bhushan, Acting Chief Justice.
