Petitioner herein who is the husband of the respondent herein approached the Family Court, Nedumangad by filing O.P(HMA) No.1630 of 2012 for divorce against the respondent. Subsequently the above matter transferred to the Family Court, Attingal, which is now pending as O.P (HMA) No.1067 of 2013. According to the petitioner, an earlier disposal of the matter pending before the court below is absolutely necessary since according to him the respondent herein tried to commit suicide on several occasions and she underwent treatment.
2. We heard Sri.T.M.Abdul Latiff, learned counsel for the petitioner.

When the above case came up for consideration by order dated 02.06.2014, we have directed the Registry to obtain a report from the Family Court, Attingal as to whether O.P(HMA) No.1067 of 2013 pending in that court is ripe for trial and also about the pendency of cases in that court and the probable date on which the said petition can be disposed of. Accordingly the learned Judge of the Family Court reported to this court that in that court altogether 1990 cases are pending for disposal. It is also reported that O.P (HMA) No.1067 of 2013 is ripe for trial and if no expert opinion is required, the case can be disposed of on or before 30.08.2014.
In the light of the above report of the learned Judge, Family Court, Attingal and in view of the fact that the above case is ripe O.P.(F.C) No.269/2014 3 for trial particularly the parties to the dispute have filed proof affidavit and produced documents, this O.P is disposed of directing the court below to dispose of O.P(HMA) No.1067 of 2013 expeditiously as possible, at any rate, before 30.08.2014.
