JUDGMENT / ORDER

Petitioner has approached this Court on account of the delay in disposal of Ext.P1 application pending before the 1st respondent. The application is filed invoking the provisions of Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act. According to the petitioner, though the respondent had appeared and filed necessary counter affidavit, so far the proceedings are not being completed.
2. Having regard to the nature of contentions urged, I am of the view that the writ petition can be disposed of as follows without notice to the party respondents.
1st respondent is directed to consider Ext.P1 application in accordance with the procedure prescribed and pass appropriate orders within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment after issuing notice to the parties concerned.
