JUDGMENT / ORDER

Petitioners are accused Nos.8 and 9 in O.R.No.01 of 2011 of the Nelliyampathy Forest Range for the offences punishable under the Wild Life (Protection) Act for trespass into the forest and hunting a hedgehog, etc. apprehend arrest and have filed the application. 2. Learned counsel submitted that the allegations are not true. According to the learned counsel, the worst that could be said about the petitioners is only that they accepted invitation of the accused Nos.1 and 2 for a feast and consumed the meat.
3. Learned Public Prosecutor submits that apart from that, investigation also revealed that the petitioners participated in cooking the meat. Petitioners are suspected for similar offence in O.R.No.5 of 2014 of the Thiruvizhiyad Section of Nelliyampathy Forest Range.

4. In the circumstances of the case, the investigation required to be done and considering seriousness of the offence alleged, request for pre-arrest bail cannot be allowed.
The application is dismissed.
