2. It is the grievance of the petitioner that on the basis of the false complaint lodged by one Dr.Selva Arasi, W/o.Rahman, the respondent police is unnecessarily harassing the petitioner under the guise of enquiry. According to her, she has not committed any offence as alleged in the complaint. Hence, this petition.
3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that there was no such harassment caused by the respondent, as alleged by the petitioner. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor further submitted that the petitioner did not appear before the respondent police on any occasion.
4. The submission so made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor is recorded. In order to give quietus to the issue, this Court directs the petitioner to appear before the respondent on 03.04.2017 at 10.30am and on such appearance, the respondent is directed to conduct enquiry and do the needful as per law.
5. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
