JUDGMENT / ORDER

Petitioner challenges Ext.P2 on the ground that the vehicle itself has been dismantled. It is evident that if dismantling has been done, the same has to be intimated to the Registering Authority under Section 55 of the Kerala Motor Vehicles Act, 1988. In such circumstances, petitioner has to pay the amounts demanded as per Ext.P2. 2. Petitioner shall be granted ten monthly instalments. The 1st instalment shall be paid on or before 18.07.2014 and thereafter; the due date of instalments falling on the 18th of each succeeding month. On the satisfaction of the dues as aforesaid, the respondents shall give a statement of the future interest which shall be settled as the 11th instalment. If one default is WP(C).15422/14 2 committed in instalments, then the recovery proceedings shall revive and continue.
Writ petition disposed of.
