When this Criminal Original Petition was taken up, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent submitted that subsequent to the registration of C.S.R.No.185 of 2015, yet another CSR came to be registered in C.S.R.No.239 of 2017 on 15.05.2017 and the same is pending.
2. In view of the above submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the respondent police is directed to complete the enquiry and file final report as regards the complaint of the petitioner dated 25.03.2015, as provided under law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is for the petitioner to cooperate with the respondent police to complete the enquiry as expeditiously as possible.
3. The Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly.
